Product-Summary

SAM modules are high-quality measured value transformers, which make the structure possible of compact signal conditioning units in the PC measuring technique. They can be inserted in SAM module boxes or into OEM specific carrier systems. Both the module box and the carrier system contain auxiliary energy and the adapter to the PC measuring board. Each SAM module makes a measuring channel available. SAM modules are available for many measuring sensors - voltage, current, PT100, thermocouples, ICP, bridge signals - with or without galvanic signal isolation. All modules have a bipolar 10V output signal range.

The development and manufacturing of the SAM module technology take place under employment of modern elements.

SAM-Module Box S1

The SAM Module Box S1 has a rugged aluminum case and 5 slots for SAM modules (Miniaturized Signal Conditioning Modules). It also contains the power supply and a signal adapter to the Data Acquisition device, which could be an USB or Ethernet module or a PCI board. Signal output on BNC connectors are available also. The power supply of the SAM modules is galvanically isolated from the power supply system of the box. Signal connection is made by BNC connectors and Lemo connectors.

SAM Module Box S2 - Desktop case for up to 14 SAM modules

The SAM Module Box S2 is a rugged aluminum case with 7 slots for SAM-MC module carriers, each for two SAM modules (Miniaturized Signal Conditioning Modules). It is possible to build up integrated signal conditioning systems with 14 analog input channels max. An universal power supply unit allows unlimited operation. The box has an universal D-Sub25 connector for connecting to any measurement device.

SAM-MC - Module carrier for system cases S2 and S3

The SAM-MC module carrier has two free slots for SAM modules. The input signal of each SAM module is wired to a connector placed in the front plate of the module carrier. Available are front plates with isolated BNC connectors, Lemo connectors size 1 or mini thermo connectors. The internal system connector supplies the SAM modules and transfers the output signals of the SAM amplifiers to the data acquisition modules (S3) or to the connector in the rear panel of the system case (S2).
